What is Solid wood floor?

DAKKS Solid Wood Flooring is a natural 100% wood product with each board coming from just one piece of solid wood which is cut down to the desired size. It creates a luxurious appeal to your home and is very strong & durable. The solid wood flooring has a longer life expectancy, offering a timeless and charismatic appeal. The thickness is about 18mm.

Solid wood floor represents a homogeneous construction of wood. The product expands 30% more than engineered wood and therefore it is seasoned well to allow for such expansion. DAKKS Solid wood flooring comes with seven coats of formaldehyde-free acrylic lacquer which is uv-cured so that the product does not get dusty. Having unique features such as stain and scratch resistance, solid wood floors provides natural warmth. Easy to maintain and clean, this type of flooring comes with feather touch that provides comfort of bare foot walking

There are many forms of wood available, varying plank sizes and a choice of furnish. Some forms of wood available are, Oak, American Walnut, Burma Teak, Cumaru, Jatoba etc… You also have the option of re-furnishing your flooring, a number of times if and when required. When temperature rises or falls and when moisture levels fluctuate, it expands and contracts. We do have a solution for it.
